FAQs

Here are a just a few of the most frequently asked questions but if there are any other questions you have, please feel free to contact us.

How long is the massage?

We are here to help and not rush a massage. So, the massage itself lasts about than 1 hour and 15 minutes. For my regular clients, the massage sessions tend to be 1 hour and 30 minutes, or even 1 hour and 50 minutes.

Time for consultation, education, showing stretches and snoozing time is your bonus non-chargeable time to the massage itself. Please feel free to ask questions and we welcome doing further learning and investigation!

What if I want more or less pressure?

Communication is the key and this is YOUR massage. We tend to use a scale of 1 to 10. Where 9 and 10 is too much pain and you have to resist. Ideally, a good pain is in the 6, 7 to 8 range. There are a wide variety of body types and sensitivities to pressure, fortunately there are different ways to apply the pressure.

Do I have to remove jewelery?

Yes. If it is not too difficult to remove, it is recommended to remove the jewelery as it may get in the way of massaging particular areas and disrupt the massage.
